AM in Bordeaux
  
 
Car Hire:
Car hire transfers to The Medoc (25 minutes)

Two nights in a luxury 4* Château in Margaux, overlooking the vineyards

  
 
Walk:
We highly recommend a walk down the vineyards to see the World Famous Château Margaux Estate
 
 
Reception:
Wine reception can be arranged upon request
 
 
Evening:
We propose dinner in the Pavillon Restaurant; the food is excellent value for this regional French Cuisine (not included)
  
 
 
 
Day 2:
 
 
Morning:
You will be welcomed for breakfast in the dining room
  
 
Drive:
We propose a drive up the famous Route des Château, passing famous Grand Cru Classé Estates
  
 
Visit:
Pauillac Region - Visit and tasting to a Grand Cru Classé Château in this region.  Overlooking the Gironde estuary, the vines are situated on the Bages plateau.  The grapes are all hand picked and carefully sorted before crushing, strict selection is made before blending
  
 
Lunch:
After your tour and tasting we recommend lunch at a superb little brasserie adjacent to the chateau, this is a traditional French Bistro and is located in the square by the exit of the Vineyard (lunch not included)
  
 
Visit:
Margaux Region - Visit and tasting to a Grand Cru Classé Château.  Situated in the communes of Margaux and Cantenac, the history of the vineyard dates back to the 18th century
  
 
Tasting:

Enjoy your wine tasting on the panoramic roof terrace

 
 
Dinner:
Back at your hotel to relax, before we recommend a short walk across the famous town of Margaux to Restaurant Le Savoie (not included)

Morning:
You will be welcomed for breakfast in the dining room

Enjoy the serenity of the château and the surrounding vineyards.
  
 
Visit:

A visit into the heart of Bordeaux City. This is a wonderful city to discover with Brasseries that line the streets to Europe’s longest esplanade and the old city to explore.  On 28th June 2007 Bordeaux was official included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites, with over 350 historical monuments; it is an 18th century architectural gem.
