Sit back and relax with standard premier (first class) travel to Paris. Your local driver will pick you and and take you to your luxury 5-star hotel situated in Saint-Germain on Paris’s Left Bank, a delightful haven. This is a secret world away from the bustle of the city with a pretty flower-filled courtyard, a relaxing lounge and recently opened spa – your home for the next two nights.
Iconic lunch at La Tour d’Argent, the emblematic Parisian restaurant. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city of lights – perhaps enjoy a stroll along the Seine. Or, to satisfy a sweet tooth, cross the river and head to rue Montorgueil, the birthplace of the delectable Rum Baba.
Relax by the pool before taking the TGV south to your next destination where you will be picked up and chauffeured to a 5-star vinotherapy luxury Spa hotel in the vineyards of Bordeaux. Here you’ll begin to unwind straight away as you enjoy the views across the surrounding vineyards and maybe indulge in a spa treatment or two. But don’t get too confortable – in the afternoon it’s off for a Bordeaux wine tasting at a nearby world-famous château.
After breakfast you’ll be chauffeur-driven to a Premier Grand Cru Classé Château in St Emilion and Pomerol to explore its cellars and winery before a morning wine tasting. Then for lunch you’ll visit a 2 star Michelin restaurant in the heart of St Emilion – to enjoy three delicious courses with accompanying wines, before making your way to another Grand Cru Classified Château in Pomerol for the final tasting of the day.
The second wine tour of your holiday is devoted to the majestic Médoc. Along with your English-speaking guide you’ll follow the famous “route des châteaux”, stopping for tastings at a prestigious classified growth châteaux along the way. Lunch with accompanying wine is served at a restaurant in the heart of the Pauillac vineyards. Your tour and further tastings continue after lunch.
The last day is yours to enjoy the numerous spa treatments on offer in your hotel, before heading back to the station in time for the journey home.
