Then it’s on to a pre-dinner tasting where you’ll enjoy a range of the region’s most prestigious wines alongside a selection of local cheeses
After breakfast there’s no time to waste as you meet your English-speaking guide and head off for your first Provencal wine tasting. Here’s you’ll learn secrets old and new as you compare the winemaking techniques of yesterday and today. Enjoy tasting at three Rhone Valley wine appellations!
Your tour continues with a full day experience taking you to the outstanding site of Cape Canaille from where you will appreciate the exceptional view on the bay of Cassis and the Gardiole mountain range. Visit the ancient fishing port of the beautiful Cassis. Discover the stunning 3 Calanques witha 45 minute boat tour. The Calanques are a must-see highlight of any visit to Southern Provence. The day also includes a panoramic tour of the city of Marseille, where you will discover the Saint-Victor abbey (11th century) that keeps the entry of the Vieux-Port (Old Port).
On your final day in Avignon you’re free to explore the imposing Palais des Pape, then take in the surroundings from the gardens of Rocher des Doms, or maybe venture out into the surrounding lush lavender fields. Relax with private transfers to the airport for your flight home.
