Trip details

Day 1

Unwind in a charming three star hotel located in the very heart of the stylish city of Bordeaux, your Bordeaux wine tour begins with a wine and cheese tasting experience. Discover the underground vaulted cheese cellar with 100 cheeses! Savor 9 AOC cheeses from all over France complemented by three regional wines of Bordeaux. This is the perfect way to orient yourself in the wine region which has become so world famous with an introduction to the terroirs and tastes to come.

Day 2

Your Bordeaux wine tasting tour continues on bike on a small group tour! Breathe in 20km of stunning vineyards and quench your thirst on the wines from Saint-Émilion region, you will ride along the vineyards and the famous chateaux of this region. During the day you will visit two chateaux: a beautiful estate and a Great Classified Growth estate. During the day you will visit and taste wines from two Châteaux and enjoy a well deserved lunch in the garden of one of these prestigious Chateau!

Enjoy a guided walking tour through the charming village of Saint-Emilion dating from Middle-Age and Unesco’s World Heritage classified. At the end of the day, return to the city of Bordeaux with private transfers.

Day 3

On your final day in the city, soak up the ambiance of Bordeaux’s many brasseries and bars and see for yourself why this city is a designated UNESCO world heritage site. A stroll along one of Europe’s longest shopping esplanades is also a must, passing over 350 historical monuments along your way.  Soak up the ambience of Bordeaux, with free time to visit the famous food markets and discover the Marché des Capucins, one of the oldest markets in France.
