Fly into Croatia’s iconic capital city and relax with private transfers to the accommodation. Spend some time relaxing in your five-star hotel (with spectacular views across the Adriatic), you’ll receive an evening’s comprehensive introduction to Croatian wines with a tasting of the local fare – the perfect pre-dinner aperitif.
Today, you’ll embark on a full day’s private wine tour across the Dingač wine region. The wines of Dingač are some of Croatia’s finest: made primarily from the Plavac Mali grape variety, these reds tend to be dark, full-bodied and suffused with a unique, delightful bouquet – not to mention being unusually strong. There’s a very good reason why these wines, produced on the region’s incredible hillside wineries and vineyards, are widely considered (and officially classified) as among the best in the country. Through the course of the day, you’ll visit the salt works in Ston, visit three superb local wineries – with tours and tastings at each, accompanied by local cheese, prosciutto and oysters, with a three-course lunch included to break up the day.
Head out on a chartered boat to spend the day touring the legendary Elafiti Islands. You’ll island-hop from Koločep to Lopud to Šipan, exploring the islands themselves and swimming, walking or relaxing entirely at your own pace, with your on-board lunch provided. The Elafiti Islands are some of the last untouched spots in the Mediterranean, and will doubtless prove to be utterly unforgettable.
On your final day, you’ll get the chance to relax and unwind – or explore Dubrovnik itself – before catching a late flight home.
