Day 2
Today, you’ll embark on a full day’s private wine tour across the Dingač wine region. The wines of Dingač are some of Croatia’s finest: made primarily from the Plavac Mali grape variety, these reds tend to be dark, full-bodied and suffused with a unique, delightful bouquet – not to mention being unusually strong. There’s a very good reason why these wines, produced on the region’s incredible hillside wineries and vineyards, are widely considered (and officially classified) as among the best in the country. Through the course of the day, you’ll visit the salt works in Ston, visit three superb local wineries – with tours and tastings at each, accompanied by local cheese, prosciutto and oysters, with a three-course lunch included to break up the day.
