Fly to Lyon Airport where you will be welcomed by your SmoothRed travel representative. You will then be chauffeured straight into the vineyards of Aloxe-Corton for a wine tasting lunch at a family domaine followed by a visit to a 13th century cellar. After settling in your 5* elegant hotel in the heart of Beaune it’s time for dinner in one of the regions famed Michelin star restaurants!
Your group’s Burgundy experience continues with a drive through the famous Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune regions. En route, you’ll stop for a tasting at a boutique winery in Gevrey Chambertin followed by a special visit to the headquarters of the famous Burgundy wine house in Chassagne-Montrachet. Here you’ll see how some of the finest crus of Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise are produced. Then time to sample a few more drops at a hearty traditional wine tasting lunch. Then it’s off to Beaune for a last visit where you will taste more delicious wines in a stunning location. In the evening you will dine in a cellar restaurant in the heart of Beaune.
After breakfast there’s just enough time for you to explore the boutiques, restaurants and cafés along Beaune’s pretty cobbled streets and alleyways, before bidding farewell to the capital of Burgundy wines as you fly out from Lyon Airport.
