Trip details

Day 1

Meet with your SmoothRed Travel representative who will host the guests in Rioja. Travel from Bilbao towards Logroño, crossing into the well-known wine growing region of La Rioja. Discover a valley of vineyards with beautiful cities and medieval villages, sheltered by the magnificent Cantabrian Mountains.

Visit to a Bodega, a stunning wine estate in Rioja. Private visit and tasting at a prestigious winery in La Rioja, visit the winery and cellars before a memorable tapas lunch at the estate.

One night stay at the 5 star superb winery Spa hotel in the heart of the vineyards. This hotel offers superb gastronomy and endless relaxation. Enjoy private dining in the comfort of the hotel with a superb menu with accompanying wine.

 

Day 2

Meet with your guide for a morning vineyard ride. The route follows the river Ebro and historic hill-top villages surrounded by vineyards with the backdrop of the mountains in the distance this ride includes a pit-stop visit and tasting at a winery along the way!

Back at the hotel, enjoy sweeping panoramic views with a wonderful tapas lunch with accompanying wines before you leave Rioja.
