Trip details

Day 1

Fly into the city of Split, relax with private transfers to a 4 star hotel in the heart of the town. In the afternoon, meet your private guide for a private tour of this 1700 year old city, visiting the Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO protected world heritage site.

Day 2

Today you’ll embark on a full day’s private wine tour in Kastela near Split, learning about the different wine varieties of Dalmatia, including the origins of the Zinfandel grape. Through the course of the day, visit boutique wineries meeting with the expert winemakers of traditional centuries old estates. The wine tastings will be accompanied with canapés.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and taken by ferry a short distance across the Adriatic sea to Brač Island, known for it’s gastronomy and culture. Stop among the olive trees to learn about the olive oil production, followed by a private cookery class in the stone house set in the olive grove. In the afternoon, stop off at the highest peak of Brač Island looking over islands such as Hvar, Vis, Solta. The final stop of the day, will be a private wine tasting in one of the most prestigious wine estates in Croatia, tasting “Posip” and “Plavac Mali” or Little Blue, two of the top wine varieties in the country. Relax on the ferry ride back to Split where you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 4

On your final day, you’ll get the chance to relax and unwind and explore the Dalmatian coastline where you will find some of the best beaches in Europe – or explore Split itself – before catching a late flight home.
